The Police force has decided to engage with the Uganda Communication Commission UCC and other Telecom service providers to tress the alleged owner of a mobile telecom line used to transact a 2.5 million Shillings ransom paid for the murdered Charity Kyoheirwe over the weekend by his captors.

Kyohirwe’s body was discovered at Mulago hospital mortuary by the relatives three days since she disappeared in the hands of yet unknown kidnappers.

According to the Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima the captors demanded UGX 5 million but were reportedly paid UGX 2.5 million, proceeded to kill the victim and later dumped the body at Nalukolongo in banana plantation near the railway.

Kayima told the press in Kampala that they have arrested Kyohirwe’s husband only to provide them with some information that could assist in the investigations.

Meanwhile Kayima said they also investigating the planned sexual manipulation of refugees in the Kampala City suburbs where young girls are said to be lured into commercial sex by some police officers officials from the Prime Minister’s office, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee and brokers in exchange for legal documents
