The team of investigators from the Uganda Police Force headquarters has been dispatched to analyze all the guns in Naggalama and establish the exact police officer who allegedly shot and killed one Ronald Ssebulime who was suspected to have attempted to kill the State Minister for ICT Aidah Nantaba.

This follows reports that Ssebulime together with his colleagues still at large followed Nantaba from Ssezibwa Bridge along Kayunga road as she returned to Kampala from Kayunga district last evening.

Nantaba notified the police at Naggalama who acted swiftly and intercepted the suspects at Nagojje near the sugar Cane plantation killing one.

The Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga says that they are also reconstructing the routes used by suspects to follow Nantaba from Ssezibwa Bridge, Nagojje to Naggalama and also currying out a postmortem report to establish the range at which the bullets were shot at the suspect.

By press time, Minister Nantaba was expected to record a statement on Monday at Naggalama police about the incident.
