The National Unity Platform presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has had another serious encounter with the police who have fired teargas and live bullets to disperse his supporters in Kyegegwa and Kyenjojo.

Crowds tried to gather as he headed to Kyegegwa town and as people tried  to give a glimpse of the NUP presidential candidate than the police started firing teargas.

In Kyenjojo, Kyagulanyi reminded supporters of the various by-elections he led opposition candidates to victory against the NRM, saying he will defeat the NRM come 2021 general elections.

He says Uganda has a lot of young people who are disgruntled and time is now for them to liberate their country through the election. He reminded them of the Arua Victory when he was in jail as well as the Arua Municipality MP which is to happen again.

In Fort Portal Kyagulanyi refuted allegations that he is foreign funded, by those who are targeting Uganda’s wealth and minerals saying its Ugandans who want change who are supporting them.
