NRM ready to compete with any opposition candidate for 2021 Presidential election –Dr Tanga

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission Chairman, Dr Tanga Odoi says that the party is ready for any opposition candidate who intends to contest for the presidential seat in 2021 against their candidate.

Dr. Tanga believes that their 75year old candidate, President Yoweri Museveni can defeat any youth from opposition that could compete with him.

Recently, the NRM Central Executive Committee appointed the party Chairman as their sole presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections.

However, Tanga says that the most country’s challenge is having a visionary leader but not the age in leadership.

He said this as they issued 10 guidelines to be followed by party aspirants for the 2021 party primaries ahead of the general electoral process.
