The National Resistance Movement (NRM) District chairpersons under their body, NRM District Chairpersons’ Forum have denounced the party Electoral Commission boss Dr. Tanga Odoi over his misconduct against the recent announced strategy of contracts termination of staffs.
Led by their the Forum Chairperson Hajji Twaha Kiggudu Sonko, the NRM District Chairpersons say that they won’t work with Dr Tanga until he reflects on his conduct and respects the Party Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba.
Recently, Dr Tanga opposed Lumumba’s declaration to sack part of the 400 NRM secretariat workers parts of whom are the NRM EC members.
Addressing a press conference in Kampala, Kigundu accompanied by more than 15 regional and district party chairpersons mentions that if there are any issues between Tanga and Lumumba should be addressed in the NEC than exposing them in the media.
He says they are not ready to tolerate Tanga’s arrogance since it contravenes the party rules adding he should be disciplined.
Meanwhile, the chairperson Koboko district who doubles as the West Nile Regional Coordinator, Hajati Madinah Naham identifies Tanga as a person who has no respect for women in leadership, citing the incident when he outburst Trade Minister Amelia Kyambadde before Lumumba.
