Ministry of internal affairs has confirmed that there is yet no suspects arrested in relation to murders of Arua Municipality Mp Late Ibrahim Abiriga, Andrew Felix Kaweesa and Joan Kagezi.
This has contradicted with the state of national address by President Yoweri Museveni’s where he said at least 90 suspects were arrested in connection to the above murders.
However the line minister General JeJe Odongo says they are still investigating although more leads are emerging.
Meanwhile on the issue of killing of women in areas of Wakiso and Entebbe, Odongo said that sofar 17 suspects have been arrested, 7 aligned in court while others are being investigated.
He has also updated the country on the kidnaps since 2017 to date showing a total of 72 cases recorded, of which 36 were self kidnaps, 13 rescued, 8 lost at death and 8 still on look.
