Museveni stops the public from registering with unauthorised group

The NRM National Chairman President Yoweri Museveni has issued a stun warning to the general public to avoid a group of people said to be moving around the country registering and obtaining their National Identification Number NIN from their National Identity Cards.

In a statement signed by Museveni from his offices located at Kyambogo he said the groups of people taking the registration purportedly working under instruction from the NRM National Chairman are not known to them and should be avoided.

He says the Official network of volunteers operating under the NRM National Chairman’s supervision is located in his political Office at Kyambogo KAMPALA led by one Babirye Milly Babalanda –a Senior Presidential Advisor– political and Personal Assistant to the NRM National Chairman.

He has instructed the Security to investigate these on-going registrations to identify the individuals behind this arrangement and their agenda and anyone who has experienced this problem are advised to link up with the NRM District Chairpersons and the RDC Offices to avoid falling victim.
