MPs want the errant Police officer disciplined.

A section of Buganda Mps are demanding for the arrest and prosecution of police officers who tear gassed the Bishop emeritus of Masaka John Baptist Kaggwa and head of Mbogo clan.

The Kawempe North Mp Latif Ssebagala, Kalungu west MP John Ssewungu and Makindye-Ssabagabo MP Ssajjalyabene Kigozi all contend that the apologies from police were cosmetic.

They say, the transferring of the officers; DPC Alex Mwine and RPC Bobi Kagaruru to command other parts of the country before a disciplinary action is taken against them is a mockery to Buganda and Catholic Church.

They now demand that police either to withdraw the deployed officers or else the institution’s apologies be considered a sham.
