Parliament has given MPs up to 27th this month to submit the accountability of 20m advance given to each mp.

Parliament last month passed a supplementary of 304m from which they had 10bn to give to MPs as facilitation in the fight against covi-19 pandemic but later the money turned into a curse leading to the president issuing a directive to all MPs to return the money or give it to district task forces on covid-19.

Today, MPs received a letter issued by the speaker of Parliament dated May 12th ,2020 giving guidance to MPs to submit accountability receipts of moneys for those who gave it to the district task forces to the parliamentary commission or accounting officer before 27th this month.

However the later has also asked MPs who had used the money before the presidents directive to submit receipts of accountabilities for the commodities purchased to support their constituencies by 27th this month.
