Members of Parliament on Parliamentary committees of Health and National Economy have this morning been denied access at the site of construction of the International Specialised Hospital in Lubowa along Entebbe road.

The legislators together with Ministry of Health officials led by the Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng and the Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwiine had gone for an oversight visit to check on the progress of the works.

To their surprise they found the site under lock and key with no way through.

This comes after a number of allegations have been made about misappropriation of part of the 1.4 trillion shillings that government of Uganda secured for FINASI/ROKO the developer of the 264-bed specialized hospital.
