The state minister for Higher Education Dr. J.C. Muyingo who has presented government at the Easter Mass in Lubaga registered the central government’s condolences to the Catholic Church for the death of Archbishop Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.
He said Dr. Lwanga has been an industrious religious leader who fought for the development for all.
Muyingo said this Easter has come at a challenging moment when Covid-19 has devastated the whole world not only diseases and other social challenges but Uganda has been tried during the political elections with many threatening one another which must stop.
He reminded all people to reflect on the gospel of Easter, stop politicking, work for the common good, protect the environment and support all for the prosperity of Uganda.
Muyingo reminded parents to protect the children who have finished their final examinations.
