As the whole world is battling COVID-19 pandemic, Kisubi hospital has set an isolation center where people suspected to have signs and symptoms of Corona Virus are kept as the administration contact the ministry of health to take charge.

Kisubi hospital is one of the referral hospitals established and managed by the Catholic Church in Kampala Archdiocese and nuns of the Congregation of the immaculate heart of Mary Reparatrix Ggogonya are the ones overseeing the hospital

Speaking to the hospital marketing officer Ferista Nankumba said that every referral hospital must have isolation center especially this period of the pandemic.

Nankumba further noted that this is not new for the setting of kisubi hospital that any patient with contagious diseases was isolated from other patients to avoid the spread of diseases.

This comes as Uganda’s case numbers of people who have tested positive still stands at 52.
