KCCA boasts Kabaka’s birthday run

In preparations for the virtual kabaka’s birthday run this Sunday, the executive director of Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA)  Dorothy Kisaka has paid a courtesy visit to the katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga at Bulange Mengo and bought 200 Kabaka’s birthday run  kits worthy 2million shillings.

This year’s Kabaka’s birthday run is under the theme ” men spearheading the fight against HIV”.

Speaking to the press at Bulange Mengo the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga applauded the executive director of Kcca Kisaka for the gesture and noted that the new infections of HIV are widely spread in the city since it has most of the entertainment centres that attract youth thus appealing to the youths especially men to fight HIV.

The executive director Kcca Dorothy Kisaka thanked the katikiro for welcoming them at Bulange Mengo and cowed to continue working with the kingdom as they pursue their goals of improving the city.

This Kabaka’s birthday run schedule for November 29, 2020 will be held virtually with each of the participants called to run from home or his place of aboard and he or she posts his photograph on the social network and only a few invited members will go to Lubiri for the usual run.
