Kampala Traders want compensation in damages

Traders operating from Qualicell Bus Terminal arcade, Jumboli and Nabukeera plaza have filed a case this afternoon at the High Court civil division against the their landlords Drake Lubega, Manisour Yanga Matovu and the Horizon management over mistreatment and are seeking for compensation in damages.

Through their lawyer the Kampala Mayor Elias Lukwago, traders have demanded that first they pay their rent to court instead of being mislead by the purported owners of the buildings who are confusing them to which land lord to pay their dues.

They want court to pronounce on how to handle their matters and pray that they are compensated for all the damages they have encountered while trying to seek for justice.

They have filed the case at 2:00pm and the register urged them to wait until their case is assigned a judge for hearing.
