The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has sent a special condolence message to the Catholic Church and the entire Buganda Kingdom for the loss of His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.

His demise has been untimely and shocked the people of Uganda inclusive of the traditional leaders.

Dr. Lwanga will be remembered for his love for the Kingdom and Mamba Clan, support to the poor, a voice for the voiceless and an advisor according to Kabaka Mutebi.

Kabaka was also happy with the construction of a museum named after the late Kabaka Muteesa 1 at Rubaga that was supposed to be commissioned in 2020 but the function was deferred due to Covid-19. All this and other contributions will live to be remembered.

The Kabaka’s message has been delivered by the Charles Peter Mayiga the Katikiro of Buganda at the burial of Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who died on April 3, 2021.

On his behalf Mayiga said he received special consideration and responsibilities from the Archbishop right from the time he was a Bishop in Kasana Luweero, they always shared a lot pertaining the development of Buganda, the Catholic Church and Uganda at large.
