Police have blocked the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine’s Presidential consultation meetings until they agree on his strategic plan of holding them.

Last week, Bobi Wine declared to resume his consultation meetings starting today at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel after having been blocked by police in the last couple of months amid the Electoral Commission’s clearance.

Addressing the media at Naguru, the Deputy Police Spokesperson Polly Namaye says that Bobi Wine had promised to meet them and agree on his proposed 10 strategies before he resumes his rallies but up to now, he hadn’t responded.

Namaye further notes it out that they can’t allow such meetings to happen when the organizers don’t respect their promises.

The consultations were slated to take place this morning at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel Ndeeba but police deployed around the entire premises refusing any pressure group member from gathering and immediately after the announcement was made at Naguru police headquarters, tear gas was used to disperse youths who had started to regroup.
