The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) demands an apology from the President General of the Democratic Party (FDC) Norbert Mao for allegedly attacking their former leader Retired Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye by the members of the DP block.

In a press conference at their headquarters in Najjanankumbi, the Deputy party Spokesperson John Kikonyogo noted that it was unfair for members of the DP block to start attacking Dr. Kizza Besigye as a person at the signing of the DP block memorandum of understanding last week while at Hotel Africana.

He says FDC has no beef with any opposition political party only they are working for the liberation of this country in their ongoing exercise of traversing the entire country which DP must as well undertake to know the interests of the people than playing cheap politics in Kampala.

Last week at the signing of the Dp block MOD, leaders like Dr.Abed Bwanika from the people’s Democratic Party and kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu without mentioning names condemned politicians who are said to be self centered that thy ear the problem to Uganda’s democracy.
