Former Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre has been appointed as head coach for Egyptian topflight side Pyramids Football Club.

 

The Frenchman was officially unveiled on Monday, 8th July at the 30th June Stadium in a press conference attended graced by the Club chairman Hossan Elbadry.

 

Desabre put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Egyptian outfit.

 

The tactician and FUFA mutually agreed to terminate his contract a day after Uganda Cranes bowed out of the 2019 AFCON campaign.

 

Pyramids Football Club is owned by a United Arab Emirates tycoon, Salem Al-Shamsy and they host their games at the 30th June Military Stadium in Cairo.

 

Desabre has previously managed in Egypt after serving at Ismaily before taking over the Uganda Cranes coaching role in December 2017.

 

He has in the near past coached in Ivory Coast at ASEC Mimosas, CS Garoua in Cameroon, ES Tunis in Tunisia, Clube Recreativo Desportivo Libolo (Angola), Dubai Club in UAE, JS Saoura (Algeria), Wydad Athletic Club (Morocco) and recently Egypt’s Ismaily.
