Government, foreign dignitaries, relatives and friends have converged at Mpami in Mawokota ,Mpigi district the ancestral home of the late Med Kaggwa to bid him farewell before he is laid to rest this afternoon.

Kaggwa 64, the Chairman Uganda Human Rights Commission collapsed on the steering will at Mulago roundabout while driving to work yesterday. According to the postmortem report from Case Hospital where he was rushed to rescue his life, he might have died of hypertension; he suffered for a long time even according to the family members.

Among the monours is the Parish Priest of Mpigi Parish Fr. Deogratius Katerega Kiibi who sent his condolences to the grieved family and hailed the late for his excellent service that has been credited by almost all speakers.

He however said the late leaves a debt to this country to ensure that human rights are observed as enshrined in the constitution.

Sheik Kassim Kaddu from London in his summon challenged Muslims and all people present to work for their life after the earth that is fulfilling the obligations required by every ones faith.
