Centenary Bank has been ranked as the top agriculture financer of the year 2021 during the Annual Agriculture Sector Awards organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries and partners.
The State Minister for Agriculture and Patron of the awards, Bwiino Kyakulaga while handing over the award in Kampala, appreciated Centenary Bank for supporting farmers and commended their efforts in ensuring the sector’s growth.
Kyakulaga has implored Centenary Bank to support the agricultural sector through enabling flexible access to agricultural finances by farmers and agripreneurs.
The awards are aimed at setting a culture of appreciating good service and ensuring good motivation for all players.
While receiving the award on behalf of the Bank, Emmy Paul Opolot the Manager Linkage Banking, thanked the agricultural sector for recognizing the bank saying that it is committed to ensuring agricultural products are scaled out to reach the farmer.
