The Bishop Emeritus of Masaka Diocese Rt. Rev. John Baptist Kaggwa has encouraged the public to acquaint themselves with religious rights within the Catholic Church.

While leading the Eucharistic celebration where Rev. Sister Olivia Naluwugge made her first vows in the congregation of the missionary sisters of st. Peter clever at Nsambya said many trade wrong information about priestly and religious life as people without human feelings which is totally wrong.

Bishop Kaggwa says priests and religious are people like any other human being but commit themselves to serving God by avoiding marriage or own material things that have become a temptation to the society today many live a material world.

He hailed those parents who have played their role through which the Catholic Church in Uganda has continued to receive vocations in priesthood and religious life not forgetting holy matrimony the foundation of the Church.

He challenged the Catholics to be at the forefront to teach the society the congregations, institutes of the religious people and what priesthood means.
