The Archbishop elect of Kampala Rt. Rev. Paul Ssemogerere has hailed the family of the late Charles Bernard Mbaziira for their relentless service to the Catholic Church.

 

He made the remarks during the requiem mass for the late Matilda Namutebi Mbaziira at St Peters Catholic Parish Church Nsambya whom he commended for being an educator as professional teacher, a friend, a parent and a grandparent to everybody and above all, a strong believer.

 

Matilda Namutebi Mbaziira has been the window to the late Charles Bernard Mbaziira, a founding member and a member of the Central Organizing Committee of Kampala Archdiocese and Namugongo, who died in 2020.

 

The St Peter Nsambya Parish Priest Fr. Joseph Ssemanda also paid tribute to the late Namutebi for his great love and devotion to the Catholic faith and being a strong pillar at the parish.

 

Matilda Namutebi Mbaziira died at 83 years of age at Nsambya hospital on Monday 10th January.
