His Eminence Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala has celebrated his 91st birthday, 60 years of priest hood and 36 years as a bishop.
The special celebrations have been organized by the 50 member delegation of Catholics led by the State Minister for Higher Education Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo at his residence in Nsambya.
The mass has been animated by the Little Angels Choir from Mukono.
Celebrating the mass, Fr. Wasswa Bonaventure Ssebyanzi from Namugongo Spiritual Center says that many Catholics are no longer acting the way their appearances are, but instead behaves otherwise.
Delivering his speech on behalf of the delegation, Muyingo credited the Cardinal for his contribution in nurturing their generation who has become important and responsible citizens in this country.
He further called on Ugandans to continue praying for Cardinal Wamala to live many more years.
However, Cardinal Wamala applauded the group for the gesture blessed them and warned against losing the good spirit for Uganda.
