Bukalasa Minor Seminary located in Masaka Diocese is this Saturday June 30th celebrating 125th anniversary since it was established as a formation center for those intending to go for priesthood.

the chairperson Bukalasa seminary old students association Emmanuel Katabaazi, says the celebrations have seen refurbishing of the old structures like the church, mother Mary chapel, water system, students dormitory and completion of the commercial structure at Kirumba in Masaka an income generating project.

They have also named some of the structures Bishops who are alumni of the seminary like the late Archbishop Joseph Kiwanuka, Cardinal Emmanuel Nsubuga, Bishop Adrian Ddungu, Archbishop Paul Bakyenga of Mbarara and Bishop Emeritus of Moroto Rt. Rev. Henry Sentongo.

The celebrations this statuary are to be graced by Bishop John Baptist Kaggwa of Masaka, State Minster for Higher Education Dr. J.C Muyingo among other invited guests from the whole of East Africa.
