The Apostolic Administrator of Kampala Archdiocese Rt. Rev. Paul Ssemogerere has today paid a courtesy visit to the Archbishop of Church of Uganda Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu at his office in Namirembe.

 

Bishop Ssemogerere who is also the Bishop of Kasana – Luweero Diocese was accompanied by Fr. Pius Male, the Chancellor of Kampala Archdiocese and other Clergy.

 

Archbishop Kaziimba commiserated with Bishop Ssemogerere and the entire Roman Catholic Church in Uganda on the loss of Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who died of Herpetic Heart disease at his residence in Lubaga on Holy Saturday April 3rd this year just a day after he had participated in the ecumenical way of the cross together with Dr. Kazimba on Good Friday.

 

Dr. Kazimba later on prayed for Bishop Ssemogerere to execute the task given to him by His Holiness Pope Francis as the Apostolic Administrator of Kampala Archdiocese.

 

Also present in the meeting was Rt. Rev. Jackson Matovu the retired Bishop of Central Buganda and Chairman of Namugongo Martyrs site development committee.
