Police says that 27 cases of kidnaps have been reported to across the country between January and April this year.

This has been revealed by the police spokesperson Fred Enanga in a press conference saying that out of the 27 reported cases, 23 victims have been rescued alive while two found dead and two are still missing.

14 suspects have been arrested in connection to the kidnaps and 12 have so far been charged in courts of law.

He therefore cautioned parents to be keen on their children’s movements as they return for their holidays.

He also cautioned Ugandans to desist from acts of showing-off especially on social media where most victims of kidnappers have been exposing their life information that attract kidnappers to exercise their criminality acts.
