The Director General for Health Services at Uganda Health Ministry Dr Henry Mwebesa has appealed to individuals who travelled through Dubai, Middle East, in the last two weeks, to go for testing.

 

A total of 574 reported for check up in two days while 1,230 people have been followed up and 1400 others have completed mandatory quarantine, 764 are undergoing Institutional quarantine, while 466 are on self quarantine.

 

He said this while announcing five new Covid- 19 cases today that brought to 14 the total number of people who have tested positive of Corona virus.

 

He says that there are still more Ugandans and foreigners on quarantine and monitored by Health Ministry officials.

 

Dr. Mwebesa assure the public that health workers are working around the corner to ensure all those monitored are tested and results released.
