The Managing Director of Radio Sapientia Rev. Fr. Eustachius Lwemalika has celebrated silver jubilee in priesthood at his home area, (Ndoddo) in Ggoli Parish Mitala Maria Vicariate with gratitude to the support and guidance that has kept him to God’s call.

The celebration attracted priests, religious, Politicians and friends, business men and women including the Minister for Trade Amelia Kyambadde.

The celebrations started with a Eucharistic mass led by the Jubilarian and the Treasure of Masaka diocese Fr. Paul Ssemakula who through the homily hailed Fr. Lwemalika for touching the lives of many especially those in need, fulfilled his call to priesthood, and a hard working person who has achieved wherever he is posted but silently.

He said priesthood is a privilege from God those who are ready to sacrifice themselves, disciplined and offer themselves totally to God get the privilege by God’s grace to serve as priests.

Fr. Ssemakula said Fr. Lwemalika has loved education and helped to attain education by sponsoring students and supporting schools by looking for benefactors as well as hospitals to improve on health.

Fr. Lwemalika was speechless saying “Oh my God, am overwhelmed”

Fr. Lwemalika was born to the late Catechist Joseph Kaberuka and Tereza Kaberuka in 1965, joined Nyenga Seminary in 1986, then Katigondo and Ggaba National Seminary and later ordained a priest in 1994. He later went to Italy for financial profession and management profession that has seen him serving at various boards, treasure of Kampala Archdiocese and currently serving as the Financial Administrator at the Uganda Episcopal Conference.
