As the Month of the Holy Rosary comes to the end Parent and all Ugandans have been reminded to put their trust in God for all the challenges in life.

Fr. Lawrence Mwenya from the Holy Cross Congregation has said that responsible parenthood is drawn from the holy family and Christians would learn from this vivid example but to the surprise families and parents have lost touch with their children.

This comes after numbers of pregnant girls due to the Covid-19 lockdown to over 2000 in Uganda with many of them having occurred due to parent negligence.

Fr. Mwenya says Ugandans must take responsibility to each and every activity and above all mentor the children into responsible persons in life.

He said this while leading the mass for the final awards to the best students in the annual students try prayer contest aimed at drawing young ones to God held at Holy Cross Offices Nsambya.

The Director of Holy Cross Family Ministries East Africa Fr. Lenard Olobo acknowledged the students for their participation in writing about this years top; “Mary Mother of the Families” adding that if the young generation was given much time through faith there would not be cry against any unbecoming behaviours.
