A man who stole money to buy a car for his girlfriend has been arrested by the police.

Henry Kalulu, the Kampala metropolitan spokesperson, says Tony Adams Ochaye of Escorts Pharmaceuticals Limited stole Shs 37m which had been given to him by the company to deposit.

Kalulu says by the time he was arrested, Ochaye had bought for his girlfriend a Benz registration number UAH 474Y.Ochaye, a resident of Ggogonya Zone Nsambya testified that he stole the money to save his relationship, after his girlfriend threatened to quit if he didn’t buy for her a car.
